Forever Love (Digame) Lyrics
On the ground
With my world upside-down
I got a vision of your face
And I must get me out
For so many memories we've yet to make
God don't send to me your angels
I just wanna hear you say again..
Forever Love
Say you'll love
Digame, Digame
Tell me so
I can hold you in my soul
and if I go
I'll know
When you smile with those eyes
Baby, it's llike you place a finger on my heart
And your lips next to mine
Make me think that maybe heaven's where you are
With my world upside-down
I got a vision of your face
And I must get me out
For so many memories we've yet to make
I just wanna hear you say again..
Say you'll love
Digame, Digame
Tell me so
I can hold you in my soul
and if I go
I'll know
Baby, it's llike you place a finger on my heart
And your lips next to mine
Make me think that maybe heaven's where you are

Now that I read the lyrics again, what grinreaper explained makes a ridiculous amount of sense. It makes a lot more sense than what anyone else has gathered.
This song is so pretty!! Especially the last part of it.
true true ...a good song
"Digame" means "Speak to me" in spanish
So in english, the chorus reads:
Forever Love Say you'll love Speak to me, speak to me Tell me so I can hold you in my soul And if I go I'll know
Beautiful song, I think the spanish makes it even more..... beautiful I guess. Anna Nalick is so awesome, I got her cd the other day and I have been listening to it non-stop since then. This is one of my favorites though.
It's pretty much saying that everything is kinda going wrong, but she sees happiness in this person. And she just wants to know this person loves her. She just wants to hear him say that he loves her too.
Beautiful.... I mean, that is the perfect word for this song.... beautiful. Slow down beautiful....
I just wanna point out something odd. In Spanish 'digame' means speak to me, yes...but in a very formal way. You tend to say 'digame' to someone you're not very well acquainted with or who'se of much greater age. if it were someone she was friendly with or younger, she'd say 'dime'. Just wanted to point it out. Maybe the formality came with the way she learnt Spanish?
That's interesting, but I think she's just trying to be proper...to show respect towards her loved one. I mean, the formal/informal way of speaking is the same in Italian and I'm sure a multitude of other languages; Like in english, I suppose, saying 'talk to me' is more proper than 'speak to me', even though there is probably a different verb for to talk in spanish, lol; it's more romantic in my opinion, perhaps? (and the syllables fit quite well hehe)

I think you guys are all right except that she probably said digame instead of dime because she looks up to him. Like he's everything in the world.
um a lot of artists tend to make that mistake when they use spanish or french... such as "voulez vous couchez avec moi?"... it's said in a way that shows respect.. but really you wouldn't say "do you want to sleep with me?" if you want to show respect, right? so i think a lot of people make that mistake and rust3dxh3art is right... it's probably just because of the way she learned the language.
It may not be anything to do with the formality of "digame"...maybe that it just fit better with the rhythm. It makes sense either way.
I absolutely adore this song.
I think it's more about a belief than a specific person or thing, and she really wants to go on living for this belief, but needs assurace that it's for real, other times, she's positive of her faith.
I heard that this song was about when she was in a car accident where she flipped the car (hence the my world upside down) and it happened during the time when she was dating a Spanish guy who used to frequently tell her to "Digame" (talk to me), and so it's kind of her thoughts through the whole ordeal and how she was thinking of him and whatnot...that's what I had heard, though I could be wrong
