Draw Tua Bethlehem/Far Over Bethlehem Lyrics
Draw uwch y ddaear mae cysgod y nos
Ond yno mae golau un seren dlos
Draw uwch y ddaear mai lluoedd y Nef
yn llawen gyhoeddi ei ddyfod Ef
Far in the city with no room to spare
A stable is let to the gentle pair
Far in the city they both watch and pray
O'er Jesus asleep in his bed of hay
Draw ar y bryniau mae'r noson yn fwyn
Ar dawel ffriddiedd y defaid a'r wyn
Over the hillside the shepherds draw near
The angels glad tidings of joy to hear
Draw dros y twyni mae cwmni ar daith
yn dilyn y seren ar siwrnai faith
Over the hills now the wise men do bring
their gifts for our Lord and his praise to sing
Draw tua Bethle'm mae toriad y wawr
ac yno mae bor'n foliant yn awr
Far over Bethlehem gald voices call
To worship and praise the Saviour of all
Ond yno mae golau un seren dlos
Draw uwch y ddaear mai lluoedd y Nef
yn llawen gyhoeddi ei ddyfod Ef
A stable is let to the gentle pair
Far in the city they both watch and pray
O'er Jesus asleep in his bed of hay
Ar dawel ffriddiedd y defaid a'r wyn
Over the hillside the shepherds draw near
The angels glad tidings of joy to hear
yn dilyn y seren ar siwrnai faith
Over the hills now the wise men do bring
their gifts for our Lord and his praise to sing
ac yno mae bor'n foliant yn awr
Far over Bethlehem gald voices call
To worship and praise the Saviour of all

I can't believe no one's commented on this! I absolutely love this song. When I first heard it I fell in love with the melody. It's almost like a lullaby in some places, and then in others it's just so powerful. It's obviously about Christmas and the wise men and shepherds going to find Jesus. But even if it was all in Welsh, the melody is just too beautiful not to touch people.
