i really like this song, i think its just someone who doesnt like change and is not prepared to do anything about it so they want someone else to do it for them? actually what im trying to say makes no sense when it is written down...

what is it with killersrule and making the first (and usually the most banal) comment on all of The Bravery's song lyrics?

rite now it makes me think that there's a person adn they want everything to stay the same, they see no reason for it to change, and the only reason change has occured is due to some1 elses actions, hmmm i dunno

To me it seems like that helpless feeling you get when you know a relationship is coming to an end. They've grown apart, but you'll still miss what you once had.

First off, about the killersrule person, from what I understand The Killers and The Bravery don't get along. This could all be rumor, but that's what I heard....either way I like both bands...anyway onto important matters:

I think the song is about a person that is going through a change in his/her life that he doesn't want to take place. It could be about a breakup, and the guy/girl feels his partner isn't being upfront with him "all that youre keeping from me". The main idea I get from this song is "lay it out, get everything on the table" in a much less poetic way "shit or get off the pot". In the end he/she doesnt agree with the breakup "nothing's happened, and everythings changed" (there's no reason for it), that's the feeling I get. Hope it was helpful.
