Well, when everything goes to pieces, especially relationships, this song advises you to leave, and go somewhere else, and leave it to chance. At least these lyrics and songs are comprehensible and have meaning unlike many stanely climbfall songs, which I still like more.
I think this is a classic song about life and fate, really.
It makes you think about everything you do and if you really have control of your life.
I see the message of the song as saying even if you seem to have your worst of days, there's not much you can do about it other than move on and try to see the light in it all.
