i think it is about a guy who really like a girl.. and maybe has trouble admitting how much she really means to him and he's scared because he knows that she really does mean so much and he will always be there for her because of that. i think this song is absolutely adorable. my all-time favorite song
it sounds like he's saying "until this life is done" not "this lie..." AND i think he's saying "how can i live for someone else" not love that just makes more sense

This song is about two Christians being in love (The Afters if a Christian band), and ecstatic in the fact that they are going to spend eternity with each other, and with God. Even through death, their souls will be together in heaven, and infinity is a very long time. The earth, the sun, the stars will all fade away, but love will last forever.
It's about his commitment to God as well as to a girl, I think. They'll live their life loving and serving God, together.

I'm thankful that no song can have one solitarily true meaning attributed to it; I like the afters in spite of them being a christian group, and I take this song's meaning to be about corporeal love between two people, not some non-existant benevolant being.
