Shut You Out Lyrics
Even the smallest thing could be enough for you,
Still it was too hard for me to give.
Even the smallest thing could break your heart in two,
No wonder why its hard for you to live.
Just like I turned you down,
I always shut you out.
No matter who I blame you're not around,
I cannot turn back time, I cannot change a thing.
No matter what they say, I shut you out.
Even the smallest thing can make your day complete,
I've never seen a bigger smile that yours.
Even the smallest thing can wipe you off your feet,
When no ones catching you, you hit the floor.
Just like I turned you down,
I always shut you out.
No matter who I blame you're not around,
I cannot turn back time, I cannot change a thing.
No matter what they say, I shut you out.
Just like I turned you down,
I always shut you out.
No matter who I blame you're not around,
I cannot turn back time, I cannot change a thing.
No matter what they say, I shut you out.
Still it was too hard for me to give.
Even the smallest thing could break your heart in two,
No wonder why its hard for you to live.
I always shut you out.
No matter who I blame you're not around,
I cannot turn back time, I cannot change a thing.
No matter what they say, I shut you out.
I've never seen a bigger smile that yours.
Even the smallest thing can wipe you off your feet,
When no ones catching you, you hit the floor.
I always shut you out.
No matter who I blame you're not around,
I cannot turn back time, I cannot change a thing.
No matter what they say, I shut you out.
I always shut you out.
No matter who I blame you're not around,
I cannot turn back time, I cannot change a thing.
No matter what they say, I shut you out.

You just gotta love the whole kingwood record this song is no exception
yeh digger kingwood is fucken mad...this song is one of the best on the album. got the same kinda theme as 'Hard Times'...
Awesome song, one of the best punk albums ive ever heard. Every song can is a masterpiece!
i think i really understand how the people feel in this song. except i have felt more like the person that Nikola is singing about.
how i've felt someone has shut me out.
Cool song. 'No matter who I blame you're not around' are definately the key words in terms of 'meaning'. That's why he's now 'shutting the person out'
To me the song is about how the person telling the story, so to speak, is regretful about turning someone down and by doing so shuts that person out. The person who got shut out/turned down is a sensitive person that appreciates even the smallest gestures as long as they're from the heart.
It feels good to be able to (partially) relate to the lyrics of this song since I love the way that Nikola sings and the way Millencolin lyrics are written in.
AWESOME song about regretting not being able to "deliver" to someone close!
This song is perfect. Great sound & lyrics for sure.
This song is exactly what my first relationship was about.
I was immature. I treated my first love like dirt. I shut her out of my life. To this day, somehow, i still love her. I still wanna feel her soft hand in mine. Her soft skin against mine. I wanna hear her speak to me like she did back then. It all ended too fast.
But all i think is "Just like I turned you down, I always shut you out. No matter who I blame you're not around, I cannot turn back time, I cannot change a thing. No matter what they say, I shut you out."
Really helpful song when you are heartbroken.
