Drowned and Torn Asunder Lyrics
Forcefeed them your ways
Dictate up a blinded swarm
Society's afraid
Declaration of rebellion
We will not stand defeat
Deconstructing their hold
Our vengeance will be Tendfold
Our enemy will by drowned
The opposing torn asunder
Take all your lives back
Arson all they create
The time is now to lead the battle
Dictate up a blinded swarm
Society's afraid
Declaration of rebellion
We will not stand defeat
Deconstructing their hold
Our vengeance will be Tendfold
Our enemy will by drowned
The opposing torn asunder
Take all your lives back
Arson all they create
The time is now to lead the battle

Great fight song! We need stuff like this up in the weight room other than the extremely over rated and over played AC/DC...
"Drowned can be applied to any macro or microcosm/ era or life. Speaking of micro- this can be about a child living entangled in their parents tyrannical ways; in macro terms- about a people living in a mind-controlled dictatorship. Either way this is an anthem to the rebellion of self-empowerment and breaking free."-Matt Heafy. (lead singer) I got this meaning of the Trivium website, So thats the real meaning..! =)

Deconstructing their hold Our vengeance will be Tendfold!!!!!!!!!
I am inlove with this song
this song kicks major ass... and gothik dudes a dipshit
I think gothick_dude's post was just a joke. If you listen to it you can hear something that sounds like that. I thought it was hilarious.
Rock on.
Yeah there's jokers like that and then theres total shitheads like aunt fifi or whatever the fuck. That guy goes to every KoRn song and gives an explaination that has something to do with Jonathan Davis either raping or being raped by someone or something. But anywho, this sounds like a rebellion song to me.
I gather it is about self empowerment and standing up for yourself. Defeat your "enemies" (internal and external) and stand triumphant at the end. Similar themes to overcoming boundaries, obstacles, challenges that we will all face in our lives. Some will fall, some will need to pick themselves back up, some will not stand again ... but we must rise and fight!
Agree with @XBFNoodles ... would be a good "fight song". I can imagine this would be a great song for wrestling, boxing, MMA training sessions! "Don't give in, never surrender"
