The lyrics are a bit wrong it's not "Catholic Shame" for God sake, it should be "Cat-look shame".
To me this song seems to be dealing with two person who seems have something for each other but the other one doesn't want to be in a relationship for some reason. So what they have is just this great chemistry so it just goes and on and on without some sort of progress in their relationship.

Wow, its almost a year before I finally realized that you were commenting on my post. Anyway, yeah, it has the same but different meanings. Whereas this song is the one who wants to have some kind of form of relationship, "Enjoy the Silence" however just want a relationship without attachment.
