I've never actually heard this song, but yet I love the lyrics/ phrases. It's more like a poem, with music. Which makes it deeper. I love the last two lines. It shows how comfortable he is with this person. I think it's great. It's real. It's humorus. It's also sad. I can definately relate to the feeling of emptyness, averageness.
After hearing this from Tour De Flock, this song has become one of my very favorite. Once again the Bellies display true wittiness through their lyrics - "I need to carry out repairs by the light of your star." Hell, that line alone can take anyone's breath away
I think considering the state of the country and it being january and all its easy for any of us to think that there aren't any ladders in our game.... its just snakes snakes snakes!!
