Flying Home (Brenda's Song) Lyrics

It's hard to let you go
You've always let me in
And helped with the endings
And you know where to begin
I need you here for me
Cuz you always know my heart
I can't believe we'd change
Or have to be apart

But if you've seen the love that's in her eyes
Then everything is good
And if you know the way she felt inside
She's flying where she should
I never believe we'd live to see
An angel being born
And flying home

It's good to know your laugh
And you'll always hold my hand
And watch from up in Heaven
And always understand
We'll take you down the road
And in everything we do
We'll know how much you love us
A soul that's kind and true

But if you've seen the love that's in her eyes
Then everything is good
And if you know the way she felt inside
She's flying where she should
I never believe we'd live to see
An angel being born
And flying home

Ah...
Can you see the love in her eyes

But if you've seen the love that's in her eyes
Then everything is good
And if you know the way she felt inside
She's flying where she should
I never believe we'd live to see
An angel being born
And flying home

Cover art for Flying Home (Brenda's Song) lyrics by Chantal Kreviazuk

I absolutly love this song.i wanted to cry when i first heard it.its about her cousin Brenda dying.i heard somewhere that she died from suicide, and the line "And if you know the way she felt inside She's flying where she should"implys that it was from suicide. This song is so beautiful, one of my fave songs ever.Chantal wrote this one on the plane to Brenda's funeral, such a beautiful result from such a sad event.
