• I think this is song is about how you pretend everything is ok and you just ignore how you really feel so people won’t notice, you just get on with your life and push everything aside and hope no one notices that you’re unhappy and you don’t want to confide in anyone because they wont understand, they’ll try to tell you that they know what you’re going through etc but you know that they will never understand because only you can but secretly you wish you could give up the act and just let it all out.

but maybe not, im no good at this sort of stuff, but thats what it means to me.

i like the way the song starts slowly and dreamily (its a word!) and the changes at the line "wake up, you're dreaming..." one of the best on the album

great song best on the album, would have liked it even more if the guitar breaks at the end of the verses were slightly extended as they are some of the foos best. Love the slow, fast,slow,fast,fast style certainly in my top 5 foo songs of all time.
