yet another great jack johnson with a good message. not only are the lyrics great, but i love how he's expanding his musical styles... the chill reggae feel of this song is sweet.

I think this song is definitely talking about whats going on in our world today.

I agree with b0omur..this is such a great song..it just makes you think..specially about whats going on and desicions people made..

as far as songs that send a great message of jacks, i think this one ranks up there with cookie jar, its amazing how he comes up with stuff.

Above talks about the war and the toll it takes without people even noticing, i mean everyday on the news you hear of another person dead, and it has no meaning. one person dead is a tragedy, a thousand dead is a statistic. i think thats what jack is getting at some.

i have to really give credit to jack, he sees things like the actually are, and puts it into words so well. I hope this song gets the recognition that cookie jar did, cause its definately just as good in my eyes...if not more meaningful to whats going on during the times right now....

I've just recently got into this guy and he's amazing. This song though, if have to agree woth heath_soccer4. This son's about war and the effects it has on our lifes.

The words "We can say its us against them, we can try but nobody wins" sums it up for me. War sucks and serves no purpose.

I agree with Micron. This is an anti-war song. He is saying that war isn't really solving anything and that so many of the soldiers are not coming home.
