i <3 this song!!! describes a relationship that has hit a plateau...

Trying to analyze a David Bowie song has frazzled my brain so I remembered this song and wanted to see any comments made...interesting take about the plateau in a relationship. If anything, that may be a good sign (maybe things were wild and crazy or unclear and unsettled) so to think about being at home by the fire holding someone you love looking into their eyes seems pretty sweet and romantic to me. Yes I like to put my twist on things, imagination' s unreal...
