i love this song beautiful stuff. its got a real live feeling in it that takes you to places youve never thought of going before. it gets me thinking about what i can do with myself and with others around me and to like pay more intention to them

yea I know what you mean about wanting to discuss the music you listen to so much with others. Thats why I like this site, and look forward to seeing if other people posted comments on songs I like.
As for the meaning of this song I really am still not sure when reviewing the lyrics. I am trying to simplify things by thinking about nothing but the song title, although the lyrics throughout the song are what I am most interested in.
matbe it just means the battle of time as in he had trouble trying to fit things into time or has no time for things. sorry about my writting in the last passage i think i was almost in tears then cuz when i cry my hands go really unsteady
