Don't U Eva Lyrics
You've got a way with words
You've got a way that makes me feel so complicated
Your message meets the floor
The horizon meets your horse and your deliberated
I'm only clearing my throat
Don't u eva wish for just one thing you might never see
Don't u eva wish for just one thing you might never know
You might never know
You've got a way with words
You've got a way that makes me feel so complicated
A wall keeps you from me
You'd raise the door just so you could find the key
The wolves are waiting
Don't U Eva wish for just one thing you might never see
Don't U Eva wish for just one thing you might never know
You might never know
I'm underground
You've got a way that makes me feel so complicated
Your message meets the floor
The horizon meets your horse and your deliberated
I'm only clearing my throat
Don't u eva wish for just one thing you might never know
You might never know
You've got a way that makes me feel so complicated
A wall keeps you from me
You'd raise the door just so you could find the key
The wolves are waiting
Don't U Eva wish for just one thing you might never know
You might never know

sarah blasko is awesome... dunno if yo'll australian but she's up for 4 arias... hope she wins.... duno what the songs about and it doesnt seem to be the most heavily debated topic on this site so ima say that the album seems to have the the central theme of her divorce... some songs are a lighter tone than others but her lyrics always refer back to her past relo
love sarah blasko
The bridge is actually:
I'm underground as the world's just spinning around And you'd hunt them down, try to pin them to the ground There'd be no sound as the words just tumble out And you won't be found by the time they've hit the ground
so, after a multitude of listens to this song, I began to hear it like this:
you've got away with words -- meaning that her subject has come thus far with using only words, "you've got away with them (so far)"
I think it adds a really new and fresh perspective to the song, and then there's the whole idea of "having a way with words," which- from this song- Blasko certainly seems to possess.
