"Hold on to something, That will hold on to you" is the correct lyric, ya'll.
I'm making all of this story up but... This song is about the fun times he had at summer camp. The camp was sort of divided naturally by the tree-line and the two sides were referred to as the cowboys and the indians. The only person he would go on to keep in contact with was hot little squa (sp?) by the name of Ellen. They would eventually date in a long-distance thing in high school before they got togehter in college where the Butthole Surfers eventually became famous for perfoming nude.

yeah this is one of my favorites. ever notice that the songs you want more of and listen to over and over are the songs with the least lyrics, cuase its like you cant get enough you need more.
