I guess in this song, Dallas is asking a girlfriend would she still be with him if all the things listed happened, or if he were all the things he suggests. He could possibly even be asking fans that 'love' his that if he weren't in a band, would they feel the same way about him. And also, he's asking how he comes up with all the lyrics that he writes.
Another opne of his sad songs. Love it. I love how he has cello and piano and things like that added to his newer stuff.
Dallas a fairly famous person and talented at that. He is just asking-wheather it be a girl friend, friend, fans- if you would still feel the same way about him if he didn't have the fame. Maybe it's even more than just the fame.
I'm confused. Not many people comment on Dallas Green lyrics, his writing ability...amazing.
He writes from the heart and his voice...he sends shivers down my spine, his voice is so powerful.
This song is obviously about about a relationship he is in, and he's asking the girl, "If I wasn't so talented, rich and famous, would you still be there?"
I agree with you all... but in a way.. hes trying to show how he really feels.... maybe he wont never be able to hadle a relationship... he migh be somehow confused of what he really wants... too bad that the other half wont wait for so long....
