"Hello, I'm in Delaware" as written by and Al Jackson Jr. Al Green....
So there goes my life
Passing by with every exit sign
It's been so long
Sometimes I wonder how I will stay strong
No sleep tonight
I'll keep on driving these dark highway lines
And as the moon fades
One more night count on twenty more days

But I will see you again
I will see you again a long time from now

And there goes my life
Passing by with every departing flight
And its been so hard
So much time so far apart
And she walks the night
How many hearts will die tonight
And when things have changed
I guess I'll find out seventeen days

But I will see you again
I will see you again a long time from now

My body aches
And it hurts to say
No one is moving
And I wish that I were a tear tnight
This is my life

And I will see you again
I will see you again a long time from now

And I will see you again
I will see you again a long time from now

General CommentIs it just me or is the title of this song from Wayne's World?? You know when they're standing in front of the blue screen and they don't know what to say so Wayne's like "hello, I'm In Delaware...." I thought smeone else would have noticed this.

General CommentI don't want to say 'The meaning of this song is fairly obvious...' but I guess in a way it is. I think it's about Mr. Green being away from his family and friends whilst on tour with either AOF or his solo stuff, and how he misses them lots and wishes he were with them. However, it's the life he chose and even though it takes him away from his loved ones, he wouldn't want to be doing anything else

General CommentI saw him live 3 times in one week and actually got to meet him twice. The nicest guy ever! I got him to sign my Death Of Me Ep, and he was so surprised I had it. At the gig, he saw me and gave me a wave and spoke to me from the stage! Once again, nicest famous guy ever!

This song is newly discovered by me, and its amazing. Its such a beautiful song.
You can tell what he's writing about, but he left it open, so people can still relate.
