This song is so perfect for what I'm going through right now. I just graduated and my gf/ex is still in high school. She reassured me many times that she would never leave me and find someone else. Well, she found someone else and I'm still here trying to deal with it, but I still have hope(like that part about what nobodieslistening said). We were kinda forced apart, but I think that when we can be together again, I'll try to "remind" her of everything. "I'm willing to prove, that your the one, I regret to slip away." I think that's about how he'll wait and prove that this can work out...and that's what I plan to do too. It's just one of those songs that I can relate to so much...like every word.

ok first of all the name is so awesome, hardly any bands try to put antonyms in a phrase and have so much meaning behind it so its stationary stationery which means motionless or still pen and paper to write back to him as hes been faithful to write her and he knows that shes with others and he asks her how this been for her with knowing that shes loosing care of him and shes finally started to slip away from what he thought she was to him so simple but yet very deep in the relation to the title and i think the best part is- I thought you said that you'd come find me I thought you said you'd be home by now I heard you say that you'd come back here So I wrote to remind you somehow...because its so much hope for this relationship to get back to the way it was VERY AWESOME!

i think its about him loosing his girfreind and her not liking him and him still liking her. i think she likes him but is afraid of what might happen. he realises it also when he says "I'll tell you why we shouldn't be" anyway good song

I saw Anberlin perform live last night and this song was especially amazing really got everyone going.

Man, I know exactly how he feels when he sings this. Last semester, my best friend (who lives in a different state), told me he really wanted to pursue a relationship. I had liked him for a REALLY long time, so obviously I was excited. Granted, it was a long distance relationship, but he came to visit a couple times, and I was supposed to fly out this summer, but some family stuff came up. Anyway, he was planning on transferring to a school near me as soon as his year at his internship was up... but then suddenly he stopped calling and writing letters (we loved writing letters). It's been 2 months since we last talked, and I found out today that he's dating some girl up there.

I was listening to this CD today while on the road, and was just like "dang. This song fits."
