i'm sorry to disagree, but megan is not a very spiritual person, and though for you the song may be about god, for her it is like amber said, about a friend helping her get through life, which i think is gret. there are too many songs about romance, its nice to see one about friendship
A powerful song about how one person can shine out when you feel your whole world is falling and burning all around you.
Something about this song always makes me think of God. God is a wonder to the universe and with Him by your side, you will never get burned. God does amazing things and we all wonder how He does it.

i don't know why but for some reason, i love those two lines.

to me this song reminds me of my best friend i love her to death. she helps me and when im with here there is nothing id rather do there is no place id rather be she is a true friend. when im with her i never get burned
