O' my God hand us down our ribbons. you death defier you. far from fear we are, adrift and gone. after the fallout, after a million miles, adrift is the reason for the rain and we're in the undertow. stop dancing around in stories untold. the mind has conquered the whole heart. sewing an insecure thread of reason. i'll burn what it takes, drown what it takes. we're not going down with this ship. i burned 41 hills, for the love of academic ability.
that exceeds the love of searching for the truth. (we comprehend a massive array. can we comprehend simplicity?)

first off let me say, that new Norma Jean freakin' rocks, I just bought it the other day and I could'nt belive my ears. Now it's no "Bless the matre and kiss the child" cause that cd is the best there is, that cd will pass the test of time, and will go into the record books of the greatest metal album of all time, but still "O God, the aftermath" is still kick butt, headbangin' metal, and I am not disamounted that I bought it.

Now onto what I think this song means: I think the sinking ship is sin. When he says (screams) "we're not going down with this ship" I think he means, we're not going down with sin, but the rest of the song I have no idea.

Keep screaming for Christ Norma Jean!!!
