Worm Lyrics

Life sucks
And death is calling
Every day

I keep my chin up
But my spirit's falling
Every day

On and on and on and on
It goes
On and on and on and on

Last night
Won't see the morning
Every day
I see the sunset as an endless warning
Every day

On and on and on and on
It goes
On and on and on and on

Knife cuts
Thru all that I wanted
Every day

It's like living in a
House that's haunted
Every day

On and on and on and on
It goes
On and on and on and on

...and all is well in our world

Cover art for Worm lyrics by Ministry

It's kind of depressing living in America these days. It seems like a civilization in decline in a lot of ways. Worm is a warm song to end an angry album. it's not really sad, just sort of well when people do that think when they smile and shake their head.

I can't believe Dubya got reelected.

Knowing the album this came from and the artist who wrote it, I'm pretty sure this is political. (I would even say it could be related to socioeconomic things as well, judging from the "phone call" sample/section in the song.)

Though honestly this could just be about/related to depression in general.
