humans almost wipe out a race of beings. a few who manage to survive plot the downfall of humanity out of vengeance. but they must wait for the child foreseen in the prophecy. his birth will bring about utter devastation for man.
Obviously tells the story of the prophecy of the being that will bring armageddon to the human race.
Actually the first song in the Something Wicked trilogy, which is a story about Set Abominae, a character created by Jon Schaffer. This song is about the prophecy of his birth.

in addition to previous comments prophecy also speaks about the egyptians being a different race than humanity. And of their going into hiding until the rise of Set Abominae

sounds like theres some ancient race and this guys seeing a vision that a new race, humanity, is going to bring and end to their race, and hes saying that in 10000 years some sort of antichrist will be born and bring an end to mankind so that these people can reclaim what they lost, so in the meantime the few survivors will blend in with man kind and "mar their history"

The trilogy off Something Wicked, along with Overture of the Wicked, Framing Armageddon, I Walk Among You, and The Crucible of Man are all part of the same story.
