This song is excellent. But it's not my favorite on The Diary Of Alicia Keys. It's a really good song though. I have no frickin clue what it means excactly though!

She is using similies to compare her longing for a certain man to being trapped in a dungeon. So something must be in her way in their relationship.

It means that....ok this is all metaphorical. she is the princess locked in the dungeon of a castle we call life. Waiting for her prince to find her. The dragon is love and it's a magnificent creature and it's an exciting site to see, but it's also scary and every day she waits, she waits in agony. And only when the prince comes can she escape and not only understand see and feel love, but be given it in return.
