Naked But Safe Lyrics
The least wishes are orders
Born raised and cornered
Was kept fed and watered
They tied me to the radiators
I was, kicked around and locked down
Left in the cold to self harm
This is all that I know
Naked but safe and lifelessly yours
The least wishes are orders
Born raised and cornered
Was kept fed and watered
They tied me to the radiators
I was, kicked around and locked down
Left in the cold to self harm
This is all that I know
Naked but safe and lifelessly yours
Keep me fed, keep me watered
Naked but safe
Keep me fed, keep me watered
Naked but safe
Keep me fed, keep me watered
Naked but safe
Keep me fed, keep me watered
Naked but safe
Naked but safe
Naked but safe
Naked but safe
Keep me fed, keep me watered
Keep me fed, keep me watered
Keep me fed, keep me watered
Keep me fed, keep me watered
Born raised and cornered
Was kept fed and watered
They tied me to the radiators
Left in the cold to self harm
This is all that I know
Naked but safe and lifelessly yours
Born raised and cornered
Was kept fed and watered
They tied me to the radiators
Left in the cold to self harm
This is all that I know
Naked but safe and lifelessly yours
Naked but safe
Keep me fed, keep me watered
Naked but safe
Keep me fed, keep me watered
Naked but safe
Keep me fed, keep me watered
Naked but safe
Naked but safe
Naked but safe
Keep me fed, keep me watered
Keep me fed, keep me watered
Keep me fed, keep me watered

I agree. I think he talks about the "chains" of society, that people want you to be a certain way and when you aren't, they try to change you.
I get the image of someone being held in captivity. Almost as if he is talking about ppl in general. How we are "born, raised and cornered" and basically made to be a certain way almost like machines. But we are safe in this bubble of delusion. And so we stay there lest we become vulnerable to the things we fear.
i think this is about a person (like a child) that has been abused.
When one of my friends saw this song title she said: That means that he's wearing a condom! I know it's most unlikely the song is about that, but still, the title does kind of send that signal. SAVE SEX!!!
This seems to be more specifically describing the kind of life of anyone who has been stripped of purpose in their existence. At first, this really reminded me of the kind of mentality comfortable, white children are born into-- they have no conflict to rise against or desires to pursue NATURALLY, they have all their basic needs handed to them at birth ("Naked but safe/ and lifelessly yours"). They are the captive audience of the comfortable world that envelopes them and, without anything to fight against or for, they become disillusioned with the world around them, their values are warped, etc., etc. ("Left in the cold/ to self-harm"). However, such a dynamic can be observed in plenty of other relationships, not just those with oneself or one's environment.
