The meaning I recieved is that I've already hit the rest of my life, I don't need to hold on to the idea that I need some kind of future or I need to excite the human world with some kind of greatness. I no longer need to worry because when I've kicked the bucket, I won't worry about what mark I've left on exsistance, I can go about the rest of my life as a no good slacker who bums a sqauts. and if in the end that makes me happy, then life has been well worth it, or maybe it hasn't, either way. This song is so beautiful it chills my spine. What it's saying is that if you live a good life, if you make in your years, then you can die in peace. And I don't think it's necesarily justifying getting high and drinking unitl you can't feel feelings anymore, but it's saying that we know that it's our lives to live, so if we want to do that then no one should stop you. Your life is in your hands. You know you're fucking your life up. Who is anyone to stop you?
