Im trying to figure out if thats the song thats on NPR.com.. they have a new one thats really,really,really awesome.. I mean like their best. And I really want the f'ing lyrics.

i love this song, i always get the feeling that they made it up as they went along. also with everythng thats going on in all their songs, its easy to take for granted the lovliness of their voices, and this song is so simple with only limited intruments in the background, you get really impacted by the beauty of kianna's voice. i love it and tilly in general
but in terms of what its actually about, i always thought it was that in todays world its so hard to communicate, and we've become desensitized by everything that its hard to even keep up a conversation, which is why they talk about seeds and soil, trucks and lawnmowers, all random and irrelevent topics. Its sad, but sometimes it really does take the help of something like alcohol to get people to say whats on their mind, or how they really feel. its the only way that we can communicate with one another and tell the truth. i can totally relate and i think its simple and eloquent.

Haha, to the previous poster, don't overanalyze things. Just accept that it's a song, and go with it.
While I won't reveal who it's about, a lot of the references are not meant to be interpreted, because they would only be familiar to the people involved. The whole song is sort of talking about memories, then an incident that changed a lot.
