this song is unbelievably awesome! my interpretation is that after thinking there was no hope left, something happened to make things okay again. but shortly after you realize that "somethings never change" because the world is really built on suffering and human pain. some things will never get better. jeff's voice sounds so raw and amazing! one of my favorites!
