This song is one of those that every Christian wishes they could sing and mean it. It's so hard to give our dreams to God. We're so set on making it on our own and fulfilling our own dreams because we believe that they define us. We know that giving our dreams to God would make life so much better for us, but it's just really hard cause we're so scared to entrust our dreams to someone else, even God.

I believe this song was written by Alyssa Barlow. If I remember correctly, she was a dancer until she was injured and diagnosed with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy. This song is about how she had to put down her dream of preforming and surrender those dreams to God.
This is one of the best songs by BarlowGirl, if not their best. It was the first song I heard by them and fell completely in love with it. Such a beautiful, beautiful song.
AGain, Unreligious, in an unreligious way (It may well be about god from the artists Point of view) my opinion is that its about not trusting a partner to tell them their dreams..
