its a really decent song...personally i dont think its one of their best though...i mean thats just because im a fan of their darker stuff...i do like that its about Jim Cherry

does anyone really know what the deal is between jim and jason? did they both used to be song writers and vocals before jim died? jim's songs being the heavier metal songs like this, Bring Out Your Dead, Just Like Me, etc and Jason writing the other softer (but still sick) songs? idk, does anyone know?

As everyone else stated the song is written about Jim Cherry. Jim Cherry and Jason Cruz had a disagreement which is what caused Jim Cherry to quit the band after the release of Twisted By Design, or the disagreement was over Jim Cherry quitting the band. I have read some material that said they never reconciled their disagreement because Jim died. I have also read statements that he committed suicide and some that said he didn't commit suicide, but he had a heart condition and died from a mix of medications. So who even knows what happened. Also, the lyrics above are incorrect. The line, "We are all fucked up and doin' time," is wrong. The correct line is, "We are all fucked up and due in time." It is common sense because the following line talks about the gates of eden, meaning "Heaven."
