I love this one, I have rough ideas what it could be about but I'm never good with song meanings...

"Curse of all eternity spent chasing what I was" He is chasing an image of himself and his former life with his ex that is impossible to obtain.
Vampires is a mere metaphor; I'm assuming for eternal love.
