I'm dragging you down with back-flips
Do you even care?
Keep the secret for me
Something I can't share
I wonder if someday, we'll just be a memory
If we go off the track, will you wait for me?

I know I'm not the only one who needs you like I do
I know I'm not the only one who loves you like I do
Away, but when I get lonely
Your words won't make me stronger
The luck that brought you to me
Won't hold us any longer

You'll be good to me, but you're not my dream
You'll lose me to places, places I have never been
The way we were, the way that you held my hand
For you, I would try so hard, still, I will let you down

You'll learn you're not the only one who'll need me like you do
You'll learn you're not the only one who loves me like you do
You wait, but when you get lonely
My words won't make you stronger
The luck that brought you to me
Won't hold us any longer

I know I'm not the only one
I know I'm not, I know I'm not
I know I'm not the only one
I'm dragging you down with back-flips
I'm upside down

Tegan and Sara did the perfect job with this song. It's beautiful, I love it. It definitely reminds me of my fiance. "From hundreds of miles.." It's long distance, and will be til this summer, so that definitely sparks it for me. "The same as I love you, you'll always love me, too. This love isn't good unless it's me and you." He could never love anybody but me, and I'd rather die than see myself will anybody but him. "I know my screaming and shouting won't keep you." Even so, we still fight, and I still get upset. But, "I know, I know, I know, I'm still your love."

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
