i think this song is about being on the brink of a break-down of some sort. torment or some kind seems to be threatening to take hold and maybe the "no reason" is not being able to find the strength to fight back. 'no reason to go on' maybe?
great fucking song, i love how DKL can punch you in the face with agression yet record some beautiful and haunting shit like this.
I agree with Cyanide on the breakdown. I think on a deeper and perhaps even more haunting level, the song is clearly about ideas of suicide and "not letting them get to your head." The last line trails off beautifully, almost as an expression of the someone putting an early end to their life.
