I'll give you just a little of what you need
And then I take a little and now it seems
That everything is a lie and yet they try
To force it back up on you; what will
you do?
You think you're tougher than this -
you'll be dismissed
You think it's easy for me to believe
That every word has been said and
left for dead
My pride is bigger than that - remains
intact.
Now I take this
And I could care less
About your distress
I lie in the bed that I have made.
And now I'm coming for you -
what will you do?
This time I prove it to you -
follow through
And there is nowhere to hide that you
will find
This is the end of the line and it's you I
find.
Now I take this
And I could care less
About your distress
I lie in the bed that I have made.

when ever i hear this song i think of Revenge.. . "now i take this and i could care less about your distress i lie in the bed that i have made."

that reminds me of someone who will take revenge and doesnt care what the person says and they are ready for the consequenses... . but thats just my opinion. DKL rules

Yes, yes, go insult me in places where I'm not so I'm less likely to come reply. The hallmark of a loser who's trying desperately to hide how pathetic he is. Just go on being a bitch if it makes you feel better about yourself, I'll try to be tolerant, out of pity.

oh yes, while the hallmark of the loser is really in YOUR hands. since you basically try to act like you know everything but its obvious that you're beyond pathetic. but you keep trying to come off as the "good guy" here, you'll still remain to be a dumbass but i guess as long as it makes you feel alright, that's all that matter's I guess. Really though, you should shut the fuck up.

    wow. Anyways...back to the song.

It may very well be about revenge. I just picture Cliff standing before someone that once meant a lot to him and saying "I told you so." LIke, "You could've been so much more, but look where your decisions got you." He knows he lost someone special, and has already started accepting that. Now he wants them to face their own f-ups.

    Just another man's interpretation.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
