i agree with have2mints, but to elaborate: the stanzas in between the first and last two reflect the state of mind of people other than the privelaged white kids, though not necessarily punk, i think
wow, i always thought they were saying "olé" rather than LA...but this actually makes a lot more sense, brings to mind the riots especially since this song addresses race.
