Cherry Bomb Lyrics
Cant stay in school
All books say your playing the fool
Down the street i'm the girl next door
I'm the fox you've been waiting for!
I'm your Cherry Bomb
Hello world, every boy and girl
I'm your Cherry Bomb
Come on baby let me get into
Saturday night's got the teenage blues
get down ladies you've got nothin to lose
I'm your Cherry Bomb
Hello world, every boy and girl
I'm your Cherry Bomb
I'm your Cherry Bomb
Hello world, every boy and girl
I'm your Cherry Bomb
Your daddys friends gunna make you smile
I'll give you something to look for
Have you Grab you till your sore!
I'm your Cherry Bomb
Hello world, every boy and girl
I'm your Cherry Bomb
Cherry Bomb....

i thought this was a sarcastic rendition. i like it that way, anyway. mostly because the original song just seems to try so hard. pretty sure it's sarcastic.
Probably the best answer I've ever read on here...kudos!

I thought she says " hello world, I'm your wild girl" am I correct? I don't know. I'll have to listen again

There are quite a few versions of this song out there, and this ones is my favorite too, of course shonen knife comes in a close second. Riot Grrl Stand up!

the fact that the runaways were all "jail bait" at the time when they wrote this (i think they were all like 15 and 16 years old) goes along with the idea bruiseviolet was talking about. i mean, that obviously wasn't intentional on wolfe's part - she sings the way she sings no matter what song it is - but that is a nice little clash. i agree.

it is im your wild girl because joan jett and the black hearts id the band that originally sang this song..........BRATMOBILE SINGS IT BETTER!!!!!!!

the version i know is, "hello world, i'm your wild girl," as well, but this may be a different version. i love their cover of this song, because allison wolfe's voice sounds so sweet and cutesy, and the sound really clashes with the words of the song.

you're retarded.
Hey, you! Choose your words carefully. :(

Actually, the original version of this song was done by The Runaways. Joan Jett (and Lita Ford) played guitar and sang in The Runaways before the band broke-up and she formed the Black Hearts.
You are now informed.
