Vanilla

This song reminds me for some reason of the Beatles' White Album. Listen to it and tell me it doesn't conjure up the images that you used to get when you listened to "Long, Long, Long", "Cry Baby Cry" or "Julia". A nice, pretty acoustic driven little ditty.

Talk about relating.... This hits close to home, I was with my friend all the time, i couldn't tell her how i felt because she had a boyfriend. Which is a close and good friend of mine. Everybody i knew knew that i liked her without me really telling anyone. Even the boyfriend knew.

I loved this song, I downloaded the adore demos and mashed potatos box set off spfc.org, but lost it when I did a system recovery, now I don't think they have it available for download anymore, does anyone know another place I can get it?

Here's my take on the song: A guy likes a girl. She doesn't realise it, but pretty much everyone else does. The line "I am vanilla" confused be a bit, but I think maybe he's saying that he's plain or ordinary. He can't have her because she's special and he's just too plain (i.e. vanilla).
