Fix what’s wrong, but don’t rewrite what the artist wrote. Stick to the official released version — album booklet, label site, verified lyric video, etc. If you’re guessing, pause and double-check.
Respect the structure
Songs have rhythm. Pages do too. Leave line breaks where they belong. Don’t smash things together or add extra empty space just for looks.
Punctuation counts (but vibe-editing doesn’t)
Correct typos? Yes. Re-punctuating a whole verse because it ‘looks better’? Probably not. Keep capitalization and punctuation close to the official source.
Don’t mix versions
If you’re editing the explicit version, keep it explicit. If it’s the clean version, keep it clean. No mashups.
Let the lyrics be lyrics
This isn’t the place for interpretations, memories, stories, or trivia — that’s what comments are for. Keep metadata, translations, and bracketed stage directions out unless they’re officially part of the song.
Edit lightly
If two lines are wrong… fix the two lines. No need to bulldoze the whole page. Think ‘surgical,’ not ‘remix.’
When in doubt, ask the crowd
Not sure what they’re singing in that fuzzy bridge? Drop a question in the comments and let the music nerds swarm. Someone always knows.
Its kinda hard to explain...somebody has made a mistake in their relationship, and they keep making mistakes they later regret even though they are always forgiven, and they will continue to to these bad things?
Hmmm this song can be about...ummm...someone just being loveless in a relationship. Simple eh? Lol. One person in the relationship is forgiving and the other person is just not getting the hang of the relationship and feeling like they cant love, emotionless, stuff like that.
I see it as a girl who may of cheated and is tryin to make things better:
"And so we're here again
I try to speak, beg forgiveness
This fall from grace is in my hands"
They're there trying to talk about how to solve their relationship, and she's asking him to forgive her cos she's realized it was her fault cos she was the one who cheated, and it's her fault she's fallen.
"I'll stay away"
She's offering to walk away from him and let him recover from what she's done, or maybe saying she'll stay away from other guys
"You're so forgiving, I'm so wrong"
Admitting she's done wrong and knowing he's so forgiving about her cheating
"Stinging tears burn resentment
All I have is in your possession"
She's letting him know he's everything to her, that everything she has is his as well, and she resents the fact she was unfaithful to one she loved so much
"And my heart does not bleed for anyone
But my own"
Now that they're apart, she's still stayin 'faithful' to him somehow and showing him that she only feels for herself and no other guy
"Am I loveless?"
For cheating on him, is she loveless
I think this song is about selfishness. It's about having the option to make a decision based on yourself or someone else that you care a lot about, and always choosing yourself in the end. Least that's how I interpret it.
