Red Flag

I reckon it's about a girl who's so upset that her boyfriend left her that she commits suicide. Again I may be completely wrong but hey this is my intepretation:

"I feel trapped and its all in my dirty hands These walls are closing in" She's trapped inside her suicidal state of mind and she feels like all her options have run out, there's nothing left to live for

"You always were so hard to please You thought you had me on my knees" She's saying he was always a hard guy to please (duh) and he thought he had control over her all along

"I think I'm going under Red flags for all of this" And it turns out he really does

"You're cold and calculating A knife held to my lips And this anticipating Blade bleeding for a kiss" She longs for the day that she can touch him and kiss him again but so far the only thing touching her is the blade (self harm?)

"This is the day and you wait Is this fate, laying waste And you'll stay here forever Stay here forever" Today is the day she will die, just he wait...it's fate to her, even though it's a cruel fate to live up to and she's saying he'll be stuck without her forever and he'll stay there cos she doesn't want his pain once she's dead

"And all thats left are scars and lies Whispering while beauty dies" All that's left of her are old self harm scars and the lies he told and she can hear whispers from others while she's slowly dying inside

"I claw my neck for answers As last life slips away" She hangs herself, but while she's slowly dying she's trying to get out of it cos she wants to know why he did this to her?

"Take me away" Well yeah, death takes her from the world

i my mind i see this song as wanting something so bad that it wears you down and tears at you, it'd say its about a guy tho tearing her down because of the scars he left behind and how she wants death and its coming

BUT I THINK SHE SEND A LETTER TO THE GUY. BEFORE KILLING HER SELF
