whole cd is awesome. ace enders is awesome. early november awesome... basically. i dont know, ace is hard to interpret. but, i think. he realizes how immature he used to be, and life isnt what we make it seem. and now he is giving himself a reason to make fun of everything.

I don't have the CD yet, I'm getting it for Christmas, but I know the song isn't about his ex-girlfriend. I'm pretty sure that there isn't much on the CD about girls.

i don't think it's about his ex-girlfriend either. his whole idea of creating "i can make a mes.." was to start completely new. he even said “I wanted to go back to the time when music was the only thing that mattered, not all of the other messy things that come with it” on his website. i don't think that holding on to ex-girlfriends is starting new. so, yeah
