Don't Stop Now Lyrics
Woke up one morning saw a rooster
Struttin' by my house
6 pack rings round his neck
"Cock o' the block"
Don't stop now
Don't stop now
What keeps big daddy happy?
What makes the buzzard buzz?
A leaky quart of motor oil
"Head for the hills"
Don't stop now
Don't stop now
We pulled into economy island
"King shit and the golden boys"
Plenty more where we come from
"Top o' the line"
Don't stop now
Don't stop now
Don't stop now
Don't stop now
Struttin' by my house
6 pack rings round his neck
"Cock o' the block"
Don't stop now
Don't stop now
What makes the buzzard buzz?
A leaky quart of motor oil
"Head for the hills"
Don't stop now
Don't stop now
"King shit and the golden boys"
Plenty more where we come from
"Top o' the line"
Don't stop now
Don't stop now
Don't stop now

love this song. both the UTBUTS version and the acoustic king shit version.
Robert Pollard has stated that the first lines of this song are about his next door neighbors pet rooster Big Daddy which a picture of appears on the front of the album Devil Between My Toes. He woke up early one morning and saw Big Daddy walking down his driveway with a six pack beer ring around his neck. Also a little known fact is that the woman whom Big Daddy belonged to used to make fun of Pollard when big daddy used to chase him which apparently happen frequently. She used to call Pollard a “chicken” and “king shit” for running from the rooster. Thus the nickname or monikers King Shit and the Golden boys.
