I love the lyrics of this song and in some parts she sounds good but wen she does the chorus it sounds a bit dodgy
The original version of this sing is alot better, she cant sing this at all ..... she just ruins the song
Oh Lord, what on earth made her think she could sing this? It sounds awful. If Robbie was dead he'd be spinning in his grave. She's murdered it.
She looked pretty in the music video, but her voice sounded awful, all raspy and sad. When she sang And through it all He offers me protection A lot of love and affection Whether I'm right or wrong And down the waterfall Wherever it may take me I know that life won't break me her voice was okay, then it got nasal agan. The worst was at the first verse, it got a bit better later, but still. Jessica is not one of the better singers out there. Her sister is a lot better, (Unless she isn't the one singing in her album. There's the whole lip-sync factor) and her sister isn't great.

I love robbie, and I hate this version.
i don't think she butchered it... you guys are just used to robbie's version, geez. She has a good voice but yells too much. And Ashlee is not better, her voice sounds like a car trying to start. Just like Britney.
Maybe, just maybe she was a bit too forceful, but she instilled that emotion. She didn't do a horrible job, you guys. She just...teared it up at some points. There were very decent-sounding parts...
IMO she did a beautiful job with this, especially with the bridge.
