I belong to me

I hate this song, especially because "a public affair" is a great album and she (or her father, in this case) shouldnt have chosen this song as the 2nd single. Its so obvious shes trying to do a new "We belong together" kind of song, maybe because she thought that would help her to boost her album sales (wich have been really bad so far). I dont think this one will help her...

I really disagree with kaneda. I really like this song, it's beautiful, and I really liked it after I saw the video too. Maybe the reason I like it so much is because I'm kind of going through this, but even if I wasn't, I still think it's pretty.

I'm not too much of a Jessica Simpson fan I dont really care why she chose it as a single on her album or the reason shes even singing it. I do think this song has meaning to it that sometimes we don't take time out for ourselves and we are so busy with things and people in our lives that we forget that we need to enjoy ourselves and love ourselves before we go any further.

Wow, so many haters....I think this song is awesome, here's why:

It's a very enpowering song, when people fall in love and get into relationships, sometimes they forget who they really are. They make sacrifices for the other person and lose themselves(without even realising it)

I think she realised this from a past relationship, and wants her new beau to know that she doesn't want that to happen again. Stay true to yourself. AND THE VIDEO IS AWESOME. There is nothing more powerful than a girl cuttig off her long long hair, and her facial expressions and emotions are amazing.

I like this song. And just because its called ''I belong to me" that has nothing to do with "we belong together. Sheesh loser. Anyways I agree I really like this song. Especially because I would always listen to it when my ex and I broke up. Its about being Independent. And I agree I can relate to this song too. And here is a little tip. If you don't like the song get a freaking life and go do something better. Than wasting your time leaving comments.
