i think its about two people falling in love and living to regret the relationship and all the things theyve done together and now hes ready to change his life and move on and forget about the past
i disagree, i think it's about discovering what love is again, finding the person you want to fall in love with.

it's about two people who are very guarded and cautious about falling for someone, due to being hurt too much in the past. i can relate SO well to the first verse.
I totally agree with mm arsonist. i think thats what its supposed to be. but you could interpret it differently based on your own experiences.
I agree with soad and arsonist. It's about how no matter how bad you've been burned in the past and don't want to let yourself fall in love ever again, when you find the right person he/she will make you rediscover the beautiful side of love
it also says how even though people say or act like they don't want to fall in love, and may even have themselves convinced of it, deep inside everyone naturally craves love.
