Never heard this song, but the lyrics are very powerfuil. I've felt like that sometimes in my life. It's a horrible feeling, knowing that behind that smile on your face you're in so much pain, you don't know what to do anymore.

really good song, amazingly done. its about her being really down and low (maybe from a past breakup) and having to fake her feelings but she meets someone who sort of brightens her world and shes wondering if they could be just what she needs to get out of her sad stage.

Pretty self explanatory I reckon. She's been hurt by something/someone bad but she doesn't want anyone to know how hurt she is so shes hiding her pain under a smile!
