So, henceforth, even though same-sex marriage is wrong in the eyes of God (and should be in the eyes of Christians), we should show them compassion and unconditionnal love. And I'm sure Jason Dunn and co. realize that :)

it's saying that Murder is wrong and people aren't being locked up for long enough for it. And Same sex marriage goes against the views of every Christian Church.

"same sex marriage in a state where they don't care" --> saying people don't care about same sex marriage (and they should) and on a different note "murder is wrong but the jail time's not fair" --> saying murder is completely wrong (christians and athiests agree) but yet there is still complaining about how the sentence is too long..

God loves everyone, no matter what. Christians are taught to love thy neighbour, no matter what sexual orientation, race, or contradicting religion. Even though the Bible teaches that same-sex marrage is wrong, God wants us to show compassion to them and not completely shun/persecute them.

So, they'd write a letter to the President of the United States and with all their concerns (i.e. Same sex marriage in a state where they don't care, the jail time for murder, etc) and have him pass it to the leaders of the Parliment without mentioning their names so they aren't arrested.

We do have a parliment, we just dont call it that. We used to call it a parliment when we were still under British rule. But now, we have basically the same government type as Britian, a parliment. Its kinda confusing, but i think u get the point.. I like this song, Bush needs to give the schools more money...
I think this song is rather amazing. The reason why they are stating if they are brave is because in Canada preaching the Word is hate speech. The singer is saying he'd like to tell his government they aren't governing correctly based on his Christian views, but he is afraid of being prosecuted.
