Don't wanna be an American idiot
Don't want a nation under the new mania
Hey can you hear the sound of hysteria?
The subliminal mind-fuck America

Welcome to a new kind of tension
All across the alien nation
Where everything isn't meant to be okay
Television dreams of tomorrow
We're not the ones who're meant to follow
For that's enough to argue

Well maybe I'm the faggot America
I'm not a part of a redneck agenda
Now everybody do the propaganda
And sing along to the age of paranoia

Welcome to a new kind of tension
All across the alien nation
Where everything isn't meant to be okay
Television dreams of tomorrow
We're not the ones who're meant to follow
For that's enough to argue

Don't wanna be an American idiot
One nation controlled by the media
Information Age of hysteria
It's calling out to idiot America

Welcome to a new kind of tension
All across the alien nation
Where everything isn't meant to be okay
Television dreams of tomorrow
We're not the ones who're meant to follow
For that's enough to argue

Wow, what a load of spam. This song was made how 2 years ago and you guys are still arguing over it? Boy, why aren't I surprised? The song is political dammit.

If you read the comments on older Green Day songs you don't really see much of this crapoziod stuff. I mean, I like Green Day, but guess what? I LIKE THE RAMONES TOO! WOW!

Stop wasting your life here arguing about good, great and bad music and put nice, happy-pappy comments on songs you LIKE, not dull, repetitive comments which depreciate others on songs you either hate or dislike.

Also, if you want to make an effective comment, use correct grammer, know the difference between ARE and IS.
