This song explains exactly the way I felt when my girlfriend broke up with me. I know that sounds lame. But it was after a long relationship and we kept fucking afterwards.. and all the time all I could think of was how much I loved her but wasn't allowed to say it..

The lyrics to this song are unbeleivable...so full of conflicting hate and love. I loke his style a lot. Little corrections though: "Just swallow the pill" "It's doing the right thing"

I think it's about loving someone to death - literally. He can't stand how much he loves someone, therefore kills 'm? He doesn't want to hurt her ("using the nice lace"), he doesn't want to realise who he's killing ("trying to erase your face".) One thing I don't understand: why ty someone up if you're going to shoot them..? awesome song, awesome band

I believe this is what the song is about;

He's broken up with someone, said to himself "this is it, no more of you", so he tries to erase everything about the girl from his head.

But the girl comes back, she's done her evils to him (could be cheating, maybe she stole from him, or he caught her in the act).

He's trying to get rid of her, from her mind... all the words that conflict, they are representing his thoughts about wanting her out of his mind, yet at the same time, he can't forget about her, she's making it hard on him to forget by being dead on in his sights.
