The singer actually messed up and forgot the lines but they liked it so they kept it.

This song has such a freaking cool solo. Though the lyrics are pretty weak in my opinion.

I know this song is about armageddon the final war between good and evil. However if you left the Satan reference out this song to me is about someone close to you dying or even your own dead. The first time i listened to this song i had in my someone you know being sent to the hospital but you know they go there to die. They won't get out of there alive. It'S the beginning of the end. In times like that you would like to be able to do something but you can't. You are searching for answer about the afterlife and your own soul.

"No escape Armageddon" - No matter what you and the doctors can'T save your friend from a sure death. So no escape Armageddon and sorrow.

This song could also about the listener "you" being depressed and thinking about suicide. Slowly life and hope slips away and the Armageddon is you committing suicide. Those two scenario are what this song means to me.
