Baby Mine Lyrics

Baby mine don't you cry
Baby mine dry your eyes
Rest your head close to my heart
Never to part, baby of mine

Little one when you play
Don't you mind what they say
Let those eyes sparkle and shine
Never a tear, baby of mine

If they knew sweet little you
They'd end up loving you too
Oh those same people who scold you
What they'd give just for the right
To hold you

From your head down to your toes
You're not much, goodness knows
But you're so precious to me
Sweet as can be, baby of mine

All of those people who scold you
What they'd give just for the right
To hold you

From your head down to your toes
You're not much, goodness knows
But you're so precious to me
Sweet as can be, baby of mine

Baby of mine

I love this song. SOmeone in my voice class is singing it. When the woman sang it, I literally burst into tears. It was the day after I got my finger split at work. It is from Dumbo and it is at the part where Dumbo is visiting his mom in the prison. I think it is about someone telling someone that no matter what anyone else says, you are worth something.

I always cry when I hear this song. Always. It reminds me of when I was a kid and I'd be able to get a cuddle from my Mum whenever I wanted. She always made things better. And now I'm grown up and I can't do that anymore and I hate it
